
UNITRON’S New EXAMET-4 Microscope Series
August 15, 2011 – Commack, NY: UNITRON Ltd. is pleased to announce the introduction of its new EXAMET-4 Series of microscopes. This all-new design of the EXAMET microscope is an industrial metallurgical microscope designed for production lines, material science applications, metal manufacturing, metallurgy, and a variety of other samples.
The advanced Semi-Apochromatic M Infinity Plan Optics, ergonomic design, and digital capabilities make the EXAMET-4 Series an outstanding and cost effective choice for today’s modern metallurgist. The EXAMET-4 Series is available with either reflected illumination or reflected and transmitted illumination.
Standard features include:
• 360O rotatable viewing head with 30 O incline
• Trinocular viewing head with 20/80 split (light distribution 100% binocular, binocular/trinocular 20%/80%)
• WF Plan 10x eyepieces with 22mm field of view
• Interpupillary distance adjustment range of 54mm – 75mm
• Reversed quintuple nosepiece
• Long working distance M Infinity Plan Achromat 5x, 10x and 20x objectives
• Long working distance M Infinity Semi-Plan Apochromat 50x objective
Reflected/Transmitted Model With Digital Camera
• Low position coaxial focusing system with tension adjustment
• Mechanical Stage: 175mm x 145mm with a 76mm (X) x 42mm (Y) movement range
• On Reflected models, specimens of a height of up to 50mm can be observed
• On Reflected/Transmitted models, specimens of a height of up to 30mm can be observed
• 3 watt variable LED reflected illuminator with field and aperture diaphragm; Reflected/Transmitted models
are equipped with a 12 volt 50 watt halogen transmitted illuminator with field diaphragm • Universal power supply (90v – 240v)
• Optional accessories include: digital cameras and adapters; M Infinity Semi-Plan Apochromat 100xR objective; Plan 15x/16mm or WF 20x/12mm eyepieces; Polarizer/Analyzer; yellow, blue, green, red, or neutral density filters; reticles and stage micrometers
