Revolutionary new solid state 442nm laser
February 17, 2011 – KLASTECH Laser Technologies GmbH is pleased to announce the launch of the new Concerto® 442nm laser. Previewed as a prototype in 2010, this laser is now entering serial production with output powers available in excess of 100mW. With its superb Gaussian beam quality and ultra low noise signature the Concerto® brings new alternatives for the bio-fluorescence market at this important wavelength.
Uniquely though, this laser also offers inherent single frequency performance making it also ideal for Raman and other spectroscopy applications where diode lasers typically lack the necessary narrow line width. For those applications requiring long coherence lengths that are still reliant on large He-Cd lasers, this new product also offers >100m coherence length making it ideal for holography, disc mastering and rapid prototyping applications.
