
QBC Diagnostics in Attendance at MEDICA 2011 Trade Fair
Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, November 8, 2011 – QBC Diagnostics is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the MEDICA 2011 World Forum for Medicine International Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, from November 16-19.
At the show, QBC will be introducing its newest dry hematology analyzer – the QBC STARi, which can report up to 15 hematologic parameters, provides universal connectivity with any network, and has a memory system that can store and recall up to 1,000 previous results. Available exclusively for customers outside of the U.S., shipments for the STARi will commence in the first quarter of 2012.
QBC also offers a line of Fluorescence Microscopy products, including the ParaLens Advance LED fluorescence microscope attachment, designed to make the adoption of fluorescence microscopy easier and more affordable. Debuting at this year’s show will be F.A.S.T. Malaria Stain, a fluorescent stain which offers improved staining speed and increased visibility of malaria parasites in the sample.
This marks the seventh year that QBC will be attending MEDICA, one of the world’s largest medical trade shows, with almost 138,000 attendees from over 100 countries. QBC Diagnostics can be found at Booth #3/D35-7 in the U.S. Pavilion.
