New downloadable free trial version of MountainsMap® 6 surface imaging and analysis software
Besançon, France, 7th October 2010.
Digital Surf, the provider of surface metrology software, announced that a new free trial version of its recently released MountainsMap® 6 software can be downloaded from its web site www.digitalsurf.com . MountainsMap® 6 provides modular surface imaging and analysis solutions dedicated to instrument families including confocal microscopes, white light interferometers, scanning probe microscopes, and 2D/3D profilometers. There is also a universal solution for sites with instruments belonging to more than one family.
MountainsMap® 6’s desktop publishing environment makes it easy to create visual surface metrology reports on measured surfaces and regions of interest
The MountainsMap® 6 software includes everything needed to visualize and analyze measured surfaces in 3D and to create detailed surface metrology reports in accordance with the latest standards and methods, including the new ISO 25178 standard on 3D areal surface texture. Based upon industry-standard Mountains Technology®, it has a friendly desktop publishing user environment and its native 64-bit code makes optimal use of multicore processors.
“The new downloadable software will give users of surface metrology instruments that are not already equipped with Mountains Technology® software the opportunity to try MountainsMap® directly with their own measurement data,” stated François Blateyron, Chief Operations Officer of Digital Surf.
Digital Surf, founded in 1989, is a leading provider of imaging and analysis software for surface metrology instruments including confocal microscopes, optical interferometric microscopes, scanning probe microscopes and 2D/3D profilometers.
