Cool Runnings Cryo Course at Rothamsted Research, UK
September 19, 2011 — The Royal Microscopical Society is organizing a course in cryo-techniques for electron microscopy entitled: “Cool Runnings.”
This annual course will be held on March 18-23, 2012 at the Bioimaging Unit, Rothamsted Research, Harpenden, UK. This much anticipated cryo event “covers electron microscopy cryo-techniques aimed at the life sciences and cell biology, but the methods can be transferred to other fields. The intensive five day course includes teaching sample preparation and cryo-microscopy techniques for both scanning and transmission electron microscopy. Participants from both academia and industry who wish to learn new skills or update their knowledge are encouraged to attend.”
Gatan is a co-organizer and major sponsor of “Cool Runnings.” For complete information on this unique cryo-EM program, please log onto the RMS web site or click here for a PDF of the course flyer.
We hope to see you at Rothamsted Research.
