Calmar Laser to Exhibit Latest fs Fiber Laser Technology at CLEO 2012
Sunnyvale, CA, April 12, 2012 – Calmar Laser, a leading developer and manufacturer of ultrafast fiber lasers, will exhibit a working demonstration of the latest in Femtosecond Fiber Laser technology in booth 2335 at CLEO 2012, being held on May 8-10 at the San José Convention Center.
In addition to existing ultrafast fiber laser products, Calmar will be showing the new Cazadero high pulse energy femtosecond fiber laser, based on our proprietary chirped pulse amplification system (FLCPA).
Cazadero FLCPA laser head and controller
The Cazdero has:
• Pulse energy of up to 20 μJ
• Ultrashort pulse widths of <500 fs
• Wavelength 1030 nm
• Variable Repetition Rate from MHz to Single Pulse
• Excellent Beam Quality TEM00, M2 <1.1
The Cazadero FLCPA now uniquely provides end users with greater flexibility through fully programmable pulse repetition rates and pulse energies to meet each individual application’s requirements. Laser pulses can be conveniently delivered as a single shot, or in customizable “burst” mode sequences.
Established in 1996, Calmar Laser continues as a technological leader in the design and development of ultrafast fiber laser technology and products for the commercial, telecom, and scientific research markets.
